Library computers
Use of computers

To use the workstations, you need a PIKI library card and PIN.

You must log in to the computer within ten minutes of the start of the reservation or the computer will be released for use by others. You may lock the computer for ten minutes.

When your session ends or you log out, any changes you have made and any unsaved information will be deleted from the workstation.

Installing software or games on library workstations is not permitted, nor is gaming on the computers.

The library accepts no liability for any damage caused to third parties by library hardware and software.

The customer is always responsible for their use of the equipment and services.

The staff are not responsible afterwards for things customers have been instructed on and cannot take responsibility for unexpected failures during the use of the workstations.

The staff can provide guidance on simple technical banking matters (such as printing account transactions) but not on matters with a possible risk of financial loss.

The staff cannot provide guidance on matters that may violate the law.
Main Library
The Main Library has six workstations reserved for people over the age of 15, as well as five computers that anyone can log in to. You can reserve a computer for up to three hours.

Scan onto a flash drive.

Print to paper sizes A4 and A3. Using your own print media in the printer is not allowed.

Use Office programmes.

Use a bar code reader. There is only one bar code reader available. Ask the staff for more information.

Use headphones that are borrowed from the customer service desk.

Read magazines and newspapers on eMagz and ePress.
Nuolialan Library
Nuoliala Library has two workstations that can be reserved and one that you queue for. You can reserve a computer until the next turn of the hour. If you log in at 10:45 your reservation will end at 11:00.

Toivion Library
Toivio Library has two workstations that can be reserved. You can reserve a computer until the next turn of the hour. If you log in at 10:45 your reservation will end at 11:00. You can also read magazines and newspapers on eMagz and ePress. Printing is not possible at Toivio Library.
